I use this phone for work. Because I type while I am talking I needed a headset. The headset and the ear pieces don't quite fit correctly so it's a bit of a fuss to get the microphone placed in the correct spot. However, my only complaint is that the caller ID does not capture an incoming call's phone number if the phone is in use (I have call waiting), which is a huge drawback. I have to put this phone on call forwarding when I am working to my cell just so I can capture the phone numbers that call in. The huge plus is the clarity. My landline has background noise which is always magnified by a headset. This phone clears up that noise so I can hear even the softest of voices and they can hear me just fine. That noise was the specific reason why I selected this phone and it has kept its promise. I needed the instruction manual to figure out how to use the system and there are additional steps to getting simple things done. I am pleased with extra features that came with it that I wasn't looking for. The blue tooth headset works with my cell phone and a second cell phone as well, nice little bonus. I also like having a "Hold" button. Nice looking system, too. Overall, very pleased with the phone system and the price.

This is the second VTech phone I've purchased for my business in the last coupe of years. Its wireless headset is the principle feature that sold me on the phone. The previous VTech headset was not very robust and failed mechanically after a year's use. The new phone's store demo model appeared to have a design improvement that strengthens the headset's weak point, but unfortunately, this design change was not included in the one I bought. An area in which the old VTech was better is the procedure for retrieving stored hone numbers. The new procedure takes 4 steps to get into the stored name/number file, than you either scroll through manually or key a letter close to the name associated with the stored number. Then you scroll through more names until you arrive at the desired one. The old phone had about 1/3 as many steps.
Finally, I thought that being able to link my cell phone would be a benefit. However, the VTech sends out an annoying "please link me" message to my cell phone every 30 seconds, which insists that I need to comply with the link-up request.

Comments about Vtech DS6671-3 2 Handset Connect to Cell Telephone with Answering System/Caller ID/Call Waiting:

I had this Vtech phone (DS6671-3) for two weeks. Bragged on them every chance I got unil they stopped working.
I would give these a 4 or maybe a 5 star rating but after a couple weeks the base unit said "out of range" and never worked again. I did all I could with trouble shooting. Called Vtech support and had a very helpful and patient rep that walked through everything until we exhausted all the trouble shooting solutions until finally came to the conclusion that the base unit had just failed. He gave me small discount if I wanted to repurchase. I was tempted to get the same one thinking it was just a glitch in that one. So I did give them another chance but went with a similar but different style model and again from Vtech. It will delivered this week. So the one listed here may be a great system just not this one that I purchased.

I really liked the pairing of it to two cell phones. That's a great feature and the phone was easy to setup and understandable instructions.

There are two features I would have liked to have had and maybe it's just not doable but if you were to happen to lose your cell phone in the house it would be neat to be able to page the cell (call it). If you don't have a land line and only use these as a handset for your cell that would useful. The other feature is to have a way to review not only incoming calls but able toare able to look through the list of numbers by accessing Redial button but it's not enough info for me. I like seeing the time and date I placed the call. I had a phone once that did that. Used it all the time to help with work I do and was helpful with jobs I worked on and tracking calls made and times helped with billing.

All in all Vtech phones seems to be good value but time will tell.

We really like this phone, it can be very loud or really quite. You can also communicate from one room to another like a walkie talkie, so you don't have to yell in the house. Works really well!

tried to use this thing but the inability to use the handset when it's in the base makes it a waste of time and defeats the purpose of the base. balancing it on the edge of the holder is absurd! returning this asap.

Comments about Vtech DS6671-3 2 Handset Connect to Cell Telephone with Answering System/Caller ID/Call Waiting:

This Vtech phone has an interesting ability to route both landline and cell calls through the headset, which should be great. But the interface is so klutzy that I don't use it as much as I thought I would. It should be easy to switch to the headset, but no: You have to hold a button on the headset for a second or two, and then the handset is still connected! Moreover, it is hard to get the darn thing to hang up if you use the headset. So, I haven't even tried to link this to my cell phone. I wanted this to make my techno-life simpler, not more difficult. I think this thing was designed by Microsoft, because it is as user un-friendly as Win8!
