I searched out water-based ink pens when I developed an allergy to petrochemicals. Water-based inks are low odor and hypoallergenic. Letters will smear and bleed when touched with water, but if you keep your paperwork dry, this is not a problem. Some ink cartridges leak badly and make using a fountain pen a pointlessly messy experience. These cartridges have never leaked on me, in or out of the pen. Overall, a thoroughly excellent product.

I bought this as refills for my Waterman cartridge fountain pen and was initially somewhat disappointed.
Ink was so slow to flow I had to open the pen & squeeze the cartridge. By the time a blob of ink appeared on my document I had already scratched a hole in it from repeated attempts at writing. The blot free ink needed to be blotted up to keep from ruining my writing surface.
In subsequent uses, ink flowed freely but took time to dry, still smearing after a few minutes. Storing the pen vertically, point down, ensures it is ready to write when I am. No extra ink appears in the cap or on fingertips.

I write a great deal and my hand (not me) is getting old and cramps sometimes. My doctor told me about using fountain pens and now no more cramps. That was Easy!

The fountain pen is my writing tool of choice. I love the cartridged ink fountain pens,(the old style was too messy). However, I am taken back by the price for the quantity received in a box. I really can't tell the difference between Waterman ink from others except in cost. My primary fountain pen(not a Waterman} can use nothing but Waterman ink cartridges. So I buy you ink.

I have written with fountain pens since high school and the Waterman fountain pens are the best fountain pens I own (and I have a Mont Blanc). They are not that expensive and are beautiful pens; the refills are economical due to how big they are.
No, it will not meant for Jinhao pens. Unfortunately, according to our pen refil finder, we do not have a refill available for that pen. http:\/\/www.staples.com\/Pen-Refill-Finder\/cat_SC45.
