This bag replaces a very good Kensington Countour shoulder bag that I had for years. I wanted to spread the load of my laptop and accessories across both shoulders instead of all on one. A rolling case was rejected due to its awkwardness in smaller commuter planes when I travel. I should mention that I am on the road 50% of the time. This bag is easier to carry than my old one, spreads the load comfortably, has sufficient - but not extra - room for my stuff. My "stuff" is a 15" Macbook Pro, cables, headsets, iPod, a file folder or two, snacks for my trips, writing instruments, small Canon camera, TomTom GPS, documents, cash in multiple currencies, business cards (lots), and who knows what. The Pegasus holds it all and doesn't kill my back.
The only real negatives, and the reason it isn't a five star, are: 1. There is no waist strap to help keep weight off the shoulders when I have to carry it for a long time. This is pretty standard in bags of this class and price, so it's a surprising omission. That said, the shoulder strap system and its thumb loops work out well.
2. There is only a pocket for bunching up a handful of writing instruments together. That is, there are no individual pen holders that are present in most packs and bags. Once again, the one larger pen pocket provided is OK, but I would rather have had six or so individual slots.
3. The water bottle pockets on the sides of the pack are really only comfortable for most pint (16oz) bottles and have to be stretched to fit a quart or liter bottle. In fact, I think many of them would not fit if they have a wide aspect ratio.
So, all of this does not dampen my enthusiasm for the Pegasus. It's still a great choice, and I would recommend it to anyone who has to haul a similar bunch of equipment all over the airways.

I use a backpack for all my daily commutes as well as long trips. It was difficult to find a bag that would fit a laptop with a 17" screen within my budget. The Wenger bag did just that. This is my carry-on bag for flights, so it gets stuffed quite a bit.
The back is very durable even through multiple screenings, but the weight becomes an issue after a couple of hours. The bag itself is heavy and with the added weight of multiple devices it becomes more so. The straps are sufficient and sturdy, but not very comfortable with a load. There are extra straps that seem to be great for hiking or cross country skiing, but they are more a nuisance when using this as a travel bag - cut them off.
The bag has plenty of pocket space but a lot of that is used up when other pockets are expanded. So, it seems to be a bit more for "looks" than for "use".

Love the padding in this bag. I fell down the stairs. Broke 3 toes and a bone in the top of my foot, but my computer came out of it without a scratch thanks to this AWESOME bag.

Sat next to a traveler on a long flight, he had same product, but older. Looked in good shape for the amount of travel he stated. Stows well under the airplane seat with easy access during flight.
