To be fair, I've only had this backpack for a couple months, but so far I absolutely love it! It has a pocket for everything and most of them are very well padded. The best one is the little pocket at the top. I put my cordless mouse in there as well as my iPod and my sunglasses. It's definitely not the lightest choice out there but if you're using it to protect a laptop, I don't think there is a better backpack around. It's not the cheapest one either, but if you've already spent $500+ on a good laptop, why get a cheap bag that isn't going to protect your new toy? One more thing, this backpack is verrry comfortable even when loaded up with stuff.

I had just purchased a Dell 17" Studio and needed a backpack. Most won't fit a laptop this size, but when I slid it in outside of the designated "pocket", I was still able to get the zipper closed. This backpack has it all! The only problem, if you can call it that, is that once you fill the numerous zippered pocket areas with all the stuff you might need, you will have made this a very heavy backpack.
