The ruler is on my desk for quick and easy small measurements. For example, I wanted to purchase a ring for myself and needed a 6" x 1/4" strip of paper for measuring my finger size. I just pick the ruler up off my desk, measure; that's it. For everyday use, it's a good aesthetic and practical.

Good overall ruler, woodgrain matches office decor. Ruler is a little soft, and will curl over time.
