The handle is very uncomfortable and the blades rub together too much, making them very difficult to use.

I tend to use scissors to open boxes and these scissors don't open/expand all the way. So if you're going to just cut paper you'll be fine. But if you use it as an all-around scissor/box cutter/plant trimmer, then it's not going to meet your need.
