We go through a lot of scissors in our business - art education. they get sticky, gum up, lose their edge - but I don't want to pay too much because they also walk away too easily. This 3-pack is a good upgrade from the Dollar store products I'd been buying, for just a few pennies more.

I will be returning the Shears and purchasing ONE pair that are heavier and will have a nice cut. To be truthful, several years ago I bought a pair of Shears at [...] (this was before Staples "came to town") and liked them so well I bought a pair for my daughter. When she and I were shopping at Staples a few weeks ago, I looked for the same kind of Shears (there is no brand name on the Shears, but [...] is printed on one of the blades) and I saw one that resembled the pair I am using - but my daughter talked me into purchasing the set of three.

I only use these around the house, mainly for cutting paper, but I do have one of them in the kitchen, so far so good. I'd buy these again. Good quality for the price.
