          Titanium stays razor sharp. Curved blades keep constant pressure together, for effortless cutting. Spring tension keeps edges together, so there is no need to apply sideways pressure while cutting. I have adjusted the spring tension for optimum cutting in different materials. Overall excellent. Haven't had them long enough to resharpen, if they will ever need it. I would like to know how thick the titanium covering is.

              The advertising copy says that the edge is titanium-bonded and implies long life. Time will tell about the longevity of this item, but right out of the box it produced clean, thread-like slivers on the edge of the thinnest paper. Also, this particular model comes with a key that allows the user to adjust the blade tension: extremely useful and will be more so as the scissors wear down with use.
