I have a Dell Latitude E6500 with internal drive and USB 2nd drive. I use the WD drive for both a full standard backup location for both drives and system files, and for disk image of both drives. It works great and I have no problems with space.

Does the job and so far it's been great. I've had a lot of luck with WD these past couple years (I used to be a Seagate guy, but they've [*] the bed recently). As a backup, it's perfect.

This is one of the backups for my main system. More than enough space for system and file type archives.
Didn't want to spend extra for esata or USB3, and this performs good enough for backups.
