    Can this case be used for the Western Digital 2T portable hard drive..am having a hard time finding any type of case, let alone a hardshell, for it. Thank you

      You don't mention the model drive you have but judging by the 2TB capacity, it sounds like a full sized, desktop drive such as WD MyBook Essentials drive. If I understood you correctly, then no, this case will not fit your drive. The My Passport drives use a laptop sized, 2.5" drives and are much smaller that the MyBook line, which use 3.5" drives internally. You might look at the Pelican line of hard cases. They come in many sizes and the foam padding can be adapted to fit your requirements.
