      Replaced a Maxtor that ran out of space with a new 2 Tb Seagate GoFlex for Mac. It never worked right. Kept self-ejecting. Put it on the shelf & bought this WD 1Tb My Passport Studio. Worked perfectly from first installation - never self-ejects - no issues or problems. Just does its job in the background.

        I loved the Western Digital 3.0 USB series.. But this is by far a better choice, due to being able to transfer and backup your files at a faster rate.. And having the option of daisy chaining the drives together especially if you purchased more than one and you do not have space on your computer or computer hub..
