High Level of Compatibility
The Western Digital Scorpio drive is designed for a high level of compatibility with notebook computers. The drive uses a 2.5-inch form factor to fit most internal notebook bays and a SATA interface that works with most modern computers on the market.

Fast Performance
The Scorpio notebook drive offers a high level of performance, providing transfer rates of up to 3.0 Gb/s, a read seek time of only 2.0 ms, and a 7,200 RPM disc rotational speed that creates an average latency of only about 4.20 ms. This high-speed performance improves the overall operation of your notebook, so you can enjoy a smoother operating experience.

High Capacity
The Western Digital Scorpio also offers a high level of storage capacity to go along with its speedy performance. With 320 GB of storage space, the drive is large enough to suit most business needs, from data storage to application installation.

TrueImage Upgrading Software
The drive is compatible with the WD Acronis TrueImage upgrading software, which allows you to copy all of the data contained on an existing drive and then write it over to the new Scorpio drive. This allows you to use the Scorpio as a replacement for a boot drive without having to reinstall the operating system to the drive beforehand. None of the data or system settings are lost during the transfer process.
