Q: Does this desk have room in the back to install an Ergotron monitor arm, such as the LX? I believe the clamp is 4" deep, and can open up to 2-1/2". Asked on 1/17/2013 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The ATCD-P2 Whalen Computer desk has medium density fiberboard (MDF) that runs the length behind the top of desk. It provides lateral support. As designed, there is no place for the LX clamp to attach to the desk top. Additionally, the desktop wood frame is also MDF which would deform and tear if a monitor arm was installed. It can't take the load of the arm. Answered on 1/18/2013 by Community Answer from None
