What you see isn't what you get.

The photo is deceiving. The top is raised which looks very contemporary but leaves a gapping hole underneath. There is no platform for the top, just the frame which means the drawer is exposed. You can look right in and see everything that is in the drawer. No hiding secrets in this drawer. Putting everything together isn't all that difficult, especially if you have a helper. But when it comes to putting the drawer together that's another story. There are no starter holes for the small wood screws and they fit in tight corners so it is difficult to screw them all the way. All finished I discovered that one of the drawer runners that the manufacturer had attached was off. The drawer does not close properly and has to be banged in. Had I seen this setup in a Staples store before purchasing I would have thought twice, maybe thrice.

This desk was the right size for the small area I had available. It was easy to assemble. It had just enough room to fit a small file cabinet underneath. If you are limit in space this is the desk for you.

Nice Desk. Nice Colour. I had this shipped because it was not stock in the local store. Some inside wood parts were broken. I thought about returning it, but reglued and restapled the broken parts. It works fine now. No problems with any of the screws as others have reported. Eventually I will make new parts to match the other furniture. For what I payed on sale it was a good deal.

The drawer was very difficult to puy together. Once we got it together, it fell apart when it was picked up. After putting it back together three or four times we decided to put it back together and used a nail gun to secure it. The rest of the desk was easy to assemble.
