          I have used these for over 10 years. They are durable, easy to open & close; you can place a sheet of paper anywhere within the stack without having to take the whole stack out - and the best part - IT HANGS in the file cabinet! I have primarily used & recommend this for things like payroll reports and a variety of other reports; things that are necessary to keep, but you don't need to look at them all the time.

              I use 2 of these to file the US Export Administration Regulations, and they make it easy to add & remove pages when quarterly updates are issued. Since they don't use ring closures, there is less chance of damaging the page holes when opening & closing, even with the low-quality government paper!

              These are great for archiving, but are not good to use for filing documents that you want to have everyday access to. In order to remove documents, the mechanism needs to be disassembled.

                Can I install CD/DVD Album Refill Pages in this item?

                What CD/DVD Album Refill Pages do you sell that would work in a hanging binder for easy retrieval of discs?

                It sounds like I good idea; I just want to be sure that I can easily flip through the pages on this hanging binder with strait rings on it, and avoid the paging touching the sides of my file cabinet.

                  Yes, you can add refill pages to this item. It holds up to size 8.5" x 11" sheets.

                How Much WEIGHT can one of these hanging binders support? Please answer for both the 2" and the 3" Wilson Jones Hanging Post Binders models you sell.

                I'm looking to use the binders as a way to file away coins and slides in 2" X 2" slide pages - each slide page holds 20 slides or coin holders.

                  After speaking with Wilson Jones customer service, I found they do not have a weight rating for their post binders. They do not recommend storing coins and slides in the binder as the binder rings will break due to the weight.

                  This binder uses 3 posts and they are the same width apart as all other letter-size, 3-hole punch binders.

                  Just know that when you are removing data out of it, you may want to use 2 large "Binder Clips" (i.e Staples Item no. 831610) and place them on the 2 corners of the pages that are closest to the spine.

                  That way you can be sure that none of the pages will fall out of order and that the holes will always be lined up when placed back on the 3 posts of the binder.
