I thought this program was going to make my computer faster, but it has not done so. also, thought it was suppose to help with watching Videos clips and it has a hiccup.

For once, a new piece of software actually loaded as easily as it promised to! I think it took four clicks to load Windows 7 to upgrade a starter program. usually things don't work the way the prompts say they will/should. This one actually delivered on ease of installation.

I was given to believe that if I had Windows Vista
Home Premium that Windows 7 would be a breeze. It didn't work that way for me! So, the hype was appealing...the reality was disappointing. Another example of 'caveat emptor?'

Comments about Microsoft Windows 7 Starter to Home Premium Upgrade:

To be 100 % honest, if I had known that the only real additional features the upgrade would provide was the ability to change the wallpaper, window colors, and screensaver; as well as the ability to play DVDs(which for me has no merit because I'm on a netbook with no CD/DVD drives) I would have waited to buy this upgrade.

It may have other features but for me those are the biggest and most noticeable ones for me. I suggest you do plenty of research and see if the upgrade is worth it for the features it will add.
