    I am using this book every day. There are lots of differences in Windows 8. I do not believe they are all better. It would help if the computer had an instruction manual included...Read complete review

    I am using this book every day. There are lots of differences in Windows 8. I do not believe they are all better. It would help if the computer had an instruction manual included with the purchase. I have been using computers for years. But it is taking me quite a while to find how things work with this new system. Maybe this is great for real computer experts but I am no expert.It took me a while just to find the instructions included in the files on the hard drive. And a lot of things about this Windows 8 is just purely aggravating. When I start doing something the page just jumps to a different page before I even realize what is happening. So I am not fond of the "touch pad". Move your finger slightly and you never know what will happen. Anyway, the book "Windows 8 for Dummies" is really helping this "Dummie".

      I purchased Windows 8 for Dummies after I bought a Windows 8 computer, if I would have purchased the book first I wouldn't have bought the computer. Who would have thought you couldn't do simple functions like cut and paste.
