After purchasing other sharpeners, this one is here to stay, litterly. Once I received this, I was amazed at the weight. After installation, of course I had to try. The housing never moved. Pencels were sharpened in about three seconds. Noise was minimal.

Decent purchase

It takes too long to sharpen just one pencil, and makes a very fragile point. Guess a good purchase for the money, but only recommend for occasional use at home.

              Hey this ids a great pencil sharpener. Ihad to replace the ione I had for 20 years. I wasn't sure which one to get. I have used other X-acto products over the years and thought I would give it a try. Great machine. Not too loud and takes up little space. It is easy to empty the waste tray. The cord has plenty of lenght to get to the nearest outlet. I feel thst this one will last me another 20 years ! :)
