I have owned this for several years and have loved it. I use it for scrapbooking and cardmaking and sometimes use it daily. It cuts great and has held up really well. I don't usually cut more than 1-2 pieces of cardstock at a time, so I can't speak for how well it cuts multiple pages. But it cuts scrapbook paper and photos beautifully. I've used many other types of scrapbooking paper trimmers and this has been my favorite by far. If you're interested in a trimmer for scrapbooking or card making - this is a great product.

Though I didn't return mine, I agree with the previous reviewer about the paper guide. It's useless. It does NOT slide. Once it's in its slot it can't be moved or even removed. Otherwise it's a good trimmer but a might overpriced for what you get.

First of all, this only has a 2 year warranty, not 10. The handle is a little wobbly, the blade slightly hits the main body, and the paper guide does not slide at all- it fit too tightly.

Works well for everyday use, not intended for heavy duty work though. The handle on mine snapped off when cutting about 10 sheets of copy paper. Not what I expected from EXACTO!

Item number: 108209Product: X-Acto® 12" Heavy-Duty Paper TrimmerThe site states this product can cut 15 sheets 20lb of paper. It does not. Even the box said it only cuts 12 sheets [...] Lucky for me my project only uses about 12 sheets of paper so I will keep it only for the fact that I do not wish to pay more for one that they told me on the phone that will cut 15 sheets, when I already bought one that claims it does.I hope other people read this before they buy the item and get in a bind.

After 2 tries, I had to return this one. The trimmer is flimsy, particularly the cutter arm. With the exception of the board, all other components are made of plastic. Unless the cutter is held firmly against the board and lowered slowly, it shreds the paper, even if cutting only one sheet. If you want a good, heavy duty paper cutter, spend a little extra and get a better quality product.
