I've used these knives before so my expectations were that it's a craft knife for precision cutting. It lived up to my expectation. The cushioned grip was more comfortable than the standard metal grip. I use it, on a self healing pad, to trim paper and cardboard patterns that I then glue to wood for craft projects. All in all, a good quality, useful knife for my purposes.

I found this product to be versatile for arts and crafts and household applications. However, the plastic cap on it was cracked when I bought it, and won't stay on, so I have a sharp, exposed blade. The blade started to slip once because the base was working lose. All in all, could use better quality workmanship, especially a better cover for the blade.

I used to cut a foam display board. It cut well, but the blade kept coming loose because of the pressure needed to cut the thick board.
