got it for cutting museum board and other materials for making building model and works excellent for the job. it's not self healing though and needs a firm surface to cut on. i recommend it to anyone that need it for this purpose.

Mat that arrived is not as pictured here on the web site. I wanted what was shown. X-acto seems to have changed the design. Staples should change photo on the site to what they are going to send.
