The reason for purchasing this printer is the quality of the color printing. The colors have much more depth and brilliance than other color printers. Much better than laser jet printing I've seen. Better than ink jet plus the printing is not water soluble.

Xerox claims:

The ColorQube 8570 device's Total Cost of Ownership is a winning story
for customers. In addition to costing less to operate than the Lexmark
device, the ColorQube 8570 is easier for end users to operate and delivers
superior print quality.

The TRUTH is the average cost per page is over 13 cents per page and Maintenance Kits at 10,000 pages. Our company purchased the top of the line 8570DT 10 months ago and has just printed over 12,000 pages at a staggering $1600+ in consumables not including S&H since no one carries the Xerox inks. We are now writing off the loss before we get any deeper into the money pit since it now needs another $1000+ in Ink. So we have learned our $2500+ lesson and going back to Ricoh models which the old C411 averaged 6 cents a page and has printed over 75,000+ pages and the new C430 is an amazing 3 cents a page!

Hope you take our painful lesson to heart and don't make our mistake. I didn't make this purchase but the IT person before me did, I just had to convince Management enough was enough waste!
