Look Closely at Ink Prices

Comments about Xerox® Phaser™ 6180MFP/D Color Multifunction Printer:

After we received ours we did the math on the ink and ended up getting a REAL copy/print/scan/fax machine from a dealer, with a service contract, that will cost us $10,000 per year less just on the black ink.

The yield of the ink cartridges is rated at 5% coverage per page, but hardly anything is really only 5% coverage. Photos cover the whole page with several layers of ink, and text tends to be 15-30% coverage.
