The Xerox Phaser color printer produces print shop-quality color and black-and-white print jobs with the lower cost and convenience of an in-office solution. This quiet laser printer is easy to set up in any office, and with pre-loaded toner cartridges, it can be up and running in minutes.

Speedy Print Jobs

The Xerox Phaser warms up quickly and is ready to print your first page in color or black and white within fifteen seconds. Once it starts, it prints about 24 pages per minute. The large-capacity paper tray means you won't have to stop mid-task to reload, and its Run Black technology means that if you run out of color toner, you can still print your black-and-white print jobs.

Outstanding Color Reproduction

The Xerox Phaser is designed to handle Pantone color, and the Xerox color correction technology ensures it's right every time. Xerox EA (emulsion aggregation) toner gives you crisp, clean edges and minimizes toner use so you use just enough, every time.

Specialty Tasks

Whether you need to print envelopes or legal-size paper, the Xerox Phaser is right for the job. It can handle large print jobs like banners and posters while still performing well on the smaller jobs. If you need booklets or brochures, this color printer can automatically duplex and sort printed pages so the sheets you pull out of the printer tray are finished and sorted exactly the way you need them.

A fast 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet connection ensures everyone in your office gets their job through to the printer every time, and 256 MBs of memory keep that job active even through paper and cartridge changes. I replaced an older Zerox Phaser 6180 as the toner was way too pricey, and it did not duplex. For the price, this printer is pretty decent, although I am not happy that even though I have the settings set to "on" for auto-color registration, the sharpness of the print is not as good as the 6180 at all, and it appears that the magenta is out of register.I am hoping they did not sell me a refurbished printer and pass it off an new!

This printer is a good value. I intend to get at least three years out of it and for the money, I would say that's great. Ink is a bit pricey but the quality of print is wonderful.

I found many reports of the toner carts. depleted quickly, which was worrisome for me. However I have just completed my 2nd 500 pk. of paper and the carts. shows little use. I'm using xerox 24 lb. paper and don't have any issues with curling paper. The print is clear and colors were very sharp and clear.

Good value for the money!

Having been very disappointed by 2 inkjet printers, I was looking for good quality, cost effective color printing for my home office. The Xerox Phaser 6500DN has met my needs without breaking the bank. I was concerned about duplex printing but the duplexing unit on the Phaser has been excellent so far.
