Print, scan, copy, and fax from one convenient device with this Xerox WorkCentre printer that makes the most of your small space. With the capability of printing everything from envelopes and labels to documents on 8.5" x 14" paper, this printer offers a level of versatility that works well in a busy office setting. The unit also comes with CentreWare IS, which lets you keep track of toner levels and the progress of each print job from your computer.

Convenient Size

At just over 16 inches wide, this printer fits into your office without taking up all of your available desk or counter space. It weighs about 22 pounds, so it's lightweight enough for just one person to move it.

Printing Capability

Once started, this machine will have your first printed page done in about eight seconds and can print at about twenty four pages per minute thereafter. An input capacity of 150 sheets keeps reloading to a minimum, and a print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dots per inch ensures that your documents look crisp and clean. You can print up to 30,000 documents each month.

Network Connectivity

Connect this unit to your computer using a USB 2.0 cable or an Ethernet cable. Alternately, set it up to handle documents wirelessly with its built-in Wi-Fi capability, so there's no more messing with wires and cables at all.

Multifunctional Operation

Scan documents directly into your computer, onto a network, or onto a USB drive plugged into the convenient front port. You can also set up the unit to store numbers in an address book and send faxes with just a single touch. When copying, choose between document and photo modes to ensure that you get the precise look you want.

Bought this not realizing it was exclusive to Staples. Costs .05/copy to use which is twice as much as any other laser printer that I have so any savings up front on the machine will be quickly eaten up by the cost of toner. Was very difficult to hook up to the network and it loses connectivity with the network ALL THE TIME. Really not worth it. I would not buy this unit again. I would not have bought it the first time had I checked the price of the toner.

This unit is hard to setup. I am good with computers, and I couldn't get the wifi to work. I was on the phone with tech support for over an hour and even they couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. Staples is the only place you can buy toner at, and their inventory realy varies, so they might have it one day, but not the next. The computer chip in the toner limits the pages you can print, so you can't run the toner out like you used to be able to do. It also has a very low page count per toner. Overall crummy machine.

The printer seemed to work fine with USB and ethernet connections, but the wireless setup is unworkable.
Not sure if I had a defective printer or not, but I wasn't willing to take a chance after spending 4 hours trying to get this one set up.
Traded it for:
HP® LaserJet Pro M1217nfw Multifunction Printer
which was set up and running in 15 minutes.
The Xerox would not recognize my wireless router, and manually installing it just didn't work. Seems to me they have a decent printer, and just tacked on the wireless to sell it without testing it enough.
