User-Friendly Front Panel

High Output

This printer has a monthly duty cycle of up to 30,000 pages, so however large your printouts are, the printer will be able to accomplish the task. It has a 250-sheet paper tray for regular printing and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, so the printing process doesn't have to be interrupted for reloading. Not actually compatible with Mac

I bought this for use in an office that uses Macs exclusively. Two out of 6 computers in this office are able to use it. The other 4, after multiple visits from our very competent IT professional, are still unable to print. I wish I hadn't chosen this model. Thoroughly disappointed.

I have been waiting for the longest time to buy a XEROX Multi-function printer. I have used other brands in past, but nothing comes close. Duplex printing, faster scanning, network capable, document feeder, quieter, ability to print envelopes, .. were some of the features that were a must have for my small business. Great machine. Thank you Staples for the promotion too!

I have extensive experience with Xerox. But I purchased this machine from Staples because you can't go wrong with the price. The machine is actually manufactured by Samsung, so you know it'll be reliable. I work in IT, and have used/installed numerous printers from several companies. If you're looking for a B/W printer that produces stunning B/W documents and images you've found it. Speed is 24 pages per minute so it's faster than most inkjets will run in their fast draft mode, and it can scan images directly to a thumb drive with the built in USB. Scan, Fax (true fax/not Fax through PC software junk), Copy, and Print all for [$]. Good luck finding an HP that will do that w/o using ink cartridges that can run above 19ppm. Remember, 24 pages per minute, handles a host of stock weights, and best of all it's a TRUE MFP. Fax, Copy, Scan, Print

Does ethernet mean that it is wireless or do I need to purchase a usb cable?

  An Ethernet connection is a wired network port. This printer does not contain a WiFi adapter, but it can be connected to your WiFi router or office network using the wired Ethernet connection. This way, you would still be able to print from a laptop over WiFi since the router bridges the wired network and wireless. The printer can also be used over USB.
