    I use it to power and charge my IPOD CLASSIC when connected to my home system to eliminate the need to keep an eye on amount of charge remaining. This way my IPOD is always fully charged and ready to go as a portable. It is good quality and reliable. It is a few dollars more expensive than some you can buy, but worth it for piece of mind.
