We have redesigned/repainted, etc. a 25-year-old office replacing a big computer desk unit with a hutch with this light-colored Z-line desk so that we do not block windows in the office. This desk was the answer. My husband and I put it together later on a Sunday night and it took 2 1/2 hours - just reading the instructions step by step gave us NO problems whatsoever (although there was not enough glue provided so we had to supplement with our own...beware) and my picky husband was impressed with the strength and durability of the finished product. I have worked at the desk now for one week and have no complaints - other than the drawers DO seem to be a bit off - although there is nothing we could have done differently when putting the desk together. Also, the desk arrived ONE DAY from the mid afternoon date of ordering on line. [...] I would recommend this desk from Staples and I would buy it again - as a matter of fact we almost did!
