[...]. And the transparent blue glass is beautiful! The silver pillers,chromed accents, and blue glass are an excellent combination. I have white walls and blue carpet in one room and baige carpet in the next. The color blends in well without adding too much flare. I have enough space on my walls, above the shelves to hang pictures if I desire to.Once assembled, I pick the shelf unit up by it's study pillers when moving it. The manufacturer gives each shelf a limit of 60 lbs. and warns that no hot or really cold items should come into contact with the glass. The chrome feet are hard to vacuum around without scuffing or chipping. The feet do not hold the shelves together, so they could have been made with aluminum or chromed steel intead.

Used for bedroom furniture for teen space cadet. Legs matched his bed's. He loves the modern look. Bought the desk, book case and printer stand (used as night stand). He helped put it together. Directions were easy to follow, well written, with great diagrams.
