I wanted a functional piece of furniture that would save space but serve multiple needs and in that regard, this cart serves its purpose as I have a handy file holder, storage space and room for my AIO printer. The size is perfect for my home office nook and allows me to keep several items within reach. The only real drawback and this is endemic with most budget office furniture is the setup and instructions. The pre-drilled holes always seem to be a hair off and it takes the patience of Job to get all the pieces lined up correctly. Do yourself a favor and be completely rested before assembling or the little glitches in construction and language will drive you bonkers. It only took a little over an hour to put together and everything did ultimately fit but the time could be halved or more by having some elements pre-assembled which wouldn't add any bulk to the packaging process. Again, this crops up in other products of this nature but it's a pet peeve of mine. In the end though, it is utilitarian, looks OK in most environments, is affordable, and serves a plethora of needs. A shakey thumbs up!

It's a great file cabinet / printer stand. Be aware that the drawer will only hold hanging files, the bottom of the drawer is too weak to support any weight. If you've built [...]products, this one is a tiny bit harder to assemble. The drilling / dimensioning isn't as precise as [...]. The composite wood is not as dense either. I do love this stand, it looks great, it is sturdy (aside from the drawer deal), and holds a ton of stuff.

This was the hardest project I've ever put together. First it didn't come with instructions so I had to jump through hoops to contact z-line to e-mail instructions. Then I started putting it together which took THREE HOURS! Nothing lines up, the screws are about an 1/8 too big into the holes that it goes into. It's just a NIGHTMARE. I have the matching desk and that was no problem but whomever designed this cart is clearly an idiot.

This cart removed my printer from my desk, gave me a storage place for my toner & a ream of paper, and still gave me a place for some special files I needed.
The instructions for assembly were clear.
2 problems w/the assembly.
#1. The door handle should not be attached until everything else is assembled. The cart needs to be placed on the front side in order to attach the back.
#2. The holes for the screws attaching the uprights for the top shelf are too close to the "pipe" & I could not tighten them enough. The screw holes should be nearer to the outer edges of the attaching plates or the attaching plates made larger so the holes can be placed nearer to the outer edges.
Other than the 2nd problem, this is a good product & I would buy it again.

I use it for personal use. Looks awesome in the corner of my bedroom.
