I love this file cabinet-it's beautiful, well constructed and holds a lot. The assembly was a bit of a challenge, but worth it in the end for the product, and the price is reasonable for the quality you receive!

I use the product to store my school materials. Overall I am generally pleased with its functionality, but the drawers can be pretty tough to close - I don't think the gliding mechanism was built very well.

I thought this was quite difficult to assemble properly. I am highly mechanically inclined and have many tools. But I spent quite a bit of time assembling the cabinet, having to glue in all the dowels and then having to screw in the cam screws and cam locks was a challenge. The store doesn't let you know how long it will take to assemble - plan on a couple of hours, and how many tools you need. You need a rubber mallet, several sizes of phillips screwdrivers and a lot of patience. I would not recommend this to a friend as a good product. Much could be done by the manufacturer to improve the quality and to render the assembly simpler. I would not have been willing to pay as much if I knew how much work this was. It looks okay but I scratched it up assembling it. I can use scratch cover to cover up the scratches but the instructions could have warned me about it. I would not buy another and I would not recommend it to a friend. A disappointing purchase altogether but it will serve a purpose, its not total junk but you must be careful assembling it to render it useful.
