    I bought ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD™ because I do a lot of driving and use my Droid X as a GPS. It has been great to keep my finger nails from scratching the screen. I also work with toddlers who use educational applications. None have damaged my screen and I have been able to clean it easily. I can even put an additional company's cover w/ screen protector over the invisibleSHIELD and it still works without a hitch.

    What's great about this product is that it is durable. Downside is that it creates "grippy" texture which takes awhile to get used to on the smartphone, especially when using swype. Also, even though the directions for application were closely followed, not all the bubbles worked themselves out, so the screen texture appears uneven. The film is not an exact match to the size of the screen. It's close, but not exact. There is a small gap. I would shop around for other products like this before making this type of purchase again.

                      I just removed a worn film from the phone, exposing a pristine surface; I did not see the need to clean that surface. I followed directions as best possible to wet and squeegee the shield to Droid-X then wait 12 hours to dry. But it didn't stick at all. ARGH And there were many lines of watermark type print on the shield that the directions did not describe how to remove. Should I have peeled off another film or was it removable via a glass cleaning solution? dunno!

                      OKAY - just figured it out. the watermark printed film was NOT the film to apply...that film was protecting the ZAGG Shield film that was bonded to a paper backing. #2 in the directions should be clarified.
