I was looking for a quality pen that would write on surfaces that other pens wouldn't and that dries fast so as to not smudge when an EMT friend recommended the Zebra 301. He likes it because he can write vital patient information on his rubber gloves when paper is not readily available and he said it does not smudge or rub off. I bought a pack of two to evaluate them and returned the next day to purchase more. Works superbly on coated ink jet paper which I use for order forms that I print on my ink jet printer without skipping or clogging. Highly recommended.

It replaces my previous all-time favorite - Cross.
A real quality writing instrument.
Inexpensive enough to keep extra pens in our back-pack, auto, kitchen, next to compuer, shop, purse, night stand and anywhere else around the house where you often need one.
The 115 degree temps here in the desert do not impact the pen and its writing qualities.
