I was looking for a quality pen that would write on surfaces that other pens wouldn't and that dries fast so as to not smudge when an EMT friend recommended the Zebra 301. He likes it because he can write vital patient information on his rubber gloves when paper is not readily available and he said it does not smudge or rub off. I bought a pack of two to evaluate them and returned the next day to purchase more. Works superbly on coated ink jet paper which I use for order forms that I print on my ink jet printer without skipping or clogging. Highly recommended.

My attorney gave me the first one of these I ever used 25 years ago and it instantly became my favorite pen. The compact size fits any pocket I would normally put a pen into and yet it is big enough for me to get my large fingers around and controll it easily. The smaller pens I have tried were all too small for me to comfortably use. I have arthritis in my hands and a poor fit for a pen can cause me pain. Usually I bring along a larger pen when I am going to be taking copious notes at a class or seminar but I frequently find that I have reverted back to my Zebra half way through the day out of habit.

The Zebra F-301 is the pen I've been searching for a long time. It fits my smallish hand and it's slim size makes it perfect for tucking in purses. I use it for all my check-writing and personal notes as it helps my poor hand-writing to be as readable as possible. The ink never smears and refils are available. I've purchased a number of them and keep them stached around the house for convenience.

  Absolutely! The Refills are actually Easier to find than the pens themselves at the local Staples Retail Stores.
  Until recently, this was the ONLY Pen I purchased for work....along with Multiple refills since I write for a living. Started purchasing the Pen in Multiples a couple of years ago as I noticed they were not always in stock. I only quit purchasing the Zebra F301 when my local Staples quit carrying it with Black ink. Just found it on-line today and am THRILLED(!) because I have lost all but my last 2 pens. It is a Great Pen if you like a Fine line that glides well. Comes in Black/Blue/Red/Green Inks
