I have a Zebra mechanical pencil that I purchased in 1997 when I went to college. I took all my notes and many tests with the Zebra pencil. I'm still using it daily, but when I realized how long I'd had it I started stressing too much about losing it at work so I had to buy another. The 11-year-old pencil now stays home for home use only. Having used a Zebra I can't bring myself to use anything else. I love it.

Looks good. Lasts long (7+ years so far). I use it for writing & drawing daily.
I keep a Staedtler Mars Plastic eraser handy. They're the best anyway.

I bought the Zebra M301 to replace the Pentel P205 as a comparison. It is very comparable at a much lower price. I use mechanical pencils for drafting and marking up production drawings. The Zebra M301 works very well and matches the Zebra F-301 Pen that I use daily. It looks like an expensive set.

This is the only mechanical pencil my kids will use. It doesn't make their hands hurt when taking notes. Easy to use.

I am left handed, so I always use a pencil to write with, I have tried every one on the market, and this is the best! Please don't ever stop making it.....
