    I've purchased two 4-packs of the Z-mulsion pens, one with mixed colors, and one wit just black. The black worked great from the time I opened them, but the mixed colors were very inconsistent in their writing. One of the pens worked well, one barely worked and two were marginal. I still would buy these pens, but only the ones with only black ink. The black ink pens were great. Color was consistent without any skipping. They were easy to open and use, even though I had to scrape off the end cap on the point before I could use them. Now I use these every day.

          Excellent pen. Smooth writing, I usually use fine
          ink but this pen is great. I noticed that when I was underlining
          some info on my notes for class, the ink came out too much and
          smeared. No other complaints. I will be going back to get the black
          pens as well.

          I am a lover of click top retractible ball point pens. These pens are amazing. The colors are fabulous, the ink is the absolutely smoothest. The con i have, will be finding refills in the pen colors, i'll have a fabulous body with a black or blue refill. I'm calling all pen lovers to put pressure on pen manufacturers, if they want to tempt us with beautiful inks, they should sell refills in those same beautiful ink colors. I'm just saying as one pen lover to all others. Thank you very much
