As I tried to state above under CONS, the dimensions on the carton do not include the extension of the handles by 1 1/2" beyond the drawer fronts. I am using this in a closet and the carton dimensions fit within the space which I checked before purchasing. I had to leave off the handles and use a jury rigged wire to open the drawers. It works so that the closet doors will close, but isn't very stylish. That's a crucial dimension when placing this in a small space. Otherwise I love the unit. It is sturdy and smooth working.

I've had my cabinet for a few months now. This cabinet is good for quick organizing of files that you want close by and use regularly, as long as you plan on leaving it sit where you initially put it. I put mine on a file dolly, but I don't move it around because it is a bit wobbly.
The drawers tend to catch when opening and closing, requiring you to give that extra push or pull. I found that the catch for the drawers appeared bent or out of shape. I corrected the shaping myself as best I could and the drawers don't seem to catch as bad, but it still happens.
Overall, its an OK cabinet for mild to medium use. I wouldn't recommend it for storing sensitive information as the lock is not that good.

I was disappointed with this product. All of my file cabinets are from HON and I've had them for over 7 years. This product is a cheap make by HON and I expect I will probably have to replace it sooner.

Staples didn't do well here -- although it was a closeout, they didn't clean off the glue from the information holder, nor provide a key for the locking drawer.
