Basyx Vertical Mobile File Cabinet 22" 3-Drawer, Letter Size, Black. From Staples online catalog. [$] plus tax. Free shipping. Ordered 30 Dec 11, received 13 Jan 12.Overall, the file cabinet as delivered gets two stars and shipping gets two stars:The Good:1. Durable, sturdy construction.2. Assembly consists of one screw for each caster.The Bad:1. Top and second drawer catch on each other (with paint scrapped off on arrival where they catch).2. Top two drawers aqueal when opening/closing (even though they're on rollers.3. Lock does not work -- the lock assembly is not even attached to the bar that slides up and down to keep the drawers from opening -- factory QC asleep at the wheel!Overall, it's a sturdy, quality design. I'll allow that the catching and squealing may be due to a bent frame from shipping. No excuse for the missing link in the lock assembly.Shipping was a separate challenge:Shipping folks confused it with a desk, probably because the order/shipping info is nothing like the description in the catelog. Since I'd just received a desk from another order, I said I already got it...after questioning three times if it was really a desk they had for delivery. So it went back to the main warehouse and into la la land. It took three or four calls and a supervisor's help to get it straight and back on for delivery.Since it otherwise appears to be a good file cabinet, I opted for an exchange....we'll see how that goes. I do not recommend it if they are all like the one I got. We'll see what the replacement looks like....:)

      A:

      The item cannot be used without the casters, without potentially damaging your floor as the bottom has prongs. Hon recommends the casters be used with this unit to prevent any unnecessary damage. Hon was unable to provide the height on this item without the casters, as they are standard to product.
