We wanted something to use with our ipod touch so we could share music, video or podcast. For the money we could not have asked for better. The speaker quality was amazingly good for the size and price. I like the fact that you can stand the ipod up or lay it down to watch a movie. The only draw back is that the speaker cord is too short. It would be nice if the ipod was more secure when in the stand.

I picked it up as a portable unit to bring to meetings without bringing a big sound unit. I liked that it was battery powered but it is the only option. There is no optional AC option so if you don't like running only on battery power it this is not the one for you. The other thing is that the only way to control the volume is on the unit you are plugging into it, so it does not get very loud.
For the price it was pretty good but I am wishing I spent a little more and invested in a better one with more options that are bothering me.

This is much more transportable than my old boombox. Instead of having to carry it by hand I can slip it into my gym bag and go. I use it in my Tai Chi classes and it works well. It doesn't have an internal laser, like a boombox, to get out of alignment if it is jostled around in the trunk of my car. Which was the problem with my previous devices. The only problem I have encountered with it so far, is that it doesn't handle very high pitched notes at a high volume. They come out a little sour and static.

This portable speaker is easy to use. Just Plug your music source in and enjoy. I place it on the night stand for easy music at bedtime. I bought it for my mom to use in the kitchen. She loves it! Also it uses batteries sparingly. NO need to find an outlet.

  If it uses a standard earphone jack I think it would work. I use it with a Sansa Fuze and although my earphone jack is on the bottom it works.
