This item is perfect for traveling with the iPad.

From the new i.Sound Collection, the Travel Stand gives you two angles to view your iPad, folds flat and has a soft rubberized finish with aluminum trim. Includes a soft travel bag. Works vertically or horizontally. The Travel Stand features a soft rubberizd flip-up backing that holds the iPad in portrait of landscape mode. The flippable backing has two adjustable settings that allow the user to choose the optimal angle for their viewing pleasure. The backing folds all the way down for the ultimate in compact and lightweight portability. The rubber feet ensure the stand will stay put on normal surfaces.

        Especially when in the portrait position, my iPad falls over easily while sitting in this stand. If the base were a little heavier and the grooves for the frame a little deeper, it would be perfect.

            Using this i.Sound Travel Stand for the iphone might work, but i.Sound makes stands designed specifically for the iPhone, these would ensure the fit is secure and provide a comfortable viewing angle.
