I use this lamp for model making/craft work with my 7 year-old son. The screw-clamp and muti-directional adjustment features make this product versatile and easy to use. Its relatively light construction, however, raises concerns about its durability when used frequently in a workshop environment.

assembly is by picture only and pictures are fuzzy.
flap to cover mag is flimsy.
Claps fairly well to desk, but if desk does not have a very deep edge...the clamp will slip off easily.
Should have a brighter light...I will try an energy efficient florescent to try to get more lite.

It does the job that it is intended to do. The only problems with it have to do with the friction adjustments on the arm which have to be way overtightened to hold and the mounting clamp The clamping area is small and it's easy to push it off the table when moving the arm around. For the price, it's ok.
