I've had this trackball for 2 years. It's amazing for anything from web browsing to graphic/web design projects. It's acurate, and smooth. I love the fact that you don't have to move your entire hand which helps diminish wrist straining. Its 'larger than the average mouse' design fits perfect in the cup of your hand. It allows the hand to rest comfortably and naturally on the mouse itself. Place it on a wrist rest mouse pad for the added cushion although unnecessary for tracking since it can be used on any surface. I'm getting one for personal use. I only hope that they make a smaller usb receiver for it. One without the long cord so that it's more convenient for those with laptops.

I went to a Trackball about 8 years ago, and now dread when I have to use a Mouse. I own this Trackball for my home system, and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. The battery life is very long, and the only time i get a disconnect is when the batteries actually Die. I think it's been about 6 months since the last time I've had to change the batteries. This Trackball is comfortable, reduces strain on my wrist from repetitive use. getting used to a Trackball does take some time, but once you get it you'll never want to go back.My only con for this trackball is the price. It was [$]when I bought it like 3 or 4 years ago, and it's still at the same price. you would think the price would come down since it doesn't look like it's changed any.

I've built gaming computers since 1988. I've owned 3 Trackman in five years and now a fourth for my new Vista gaming monster. Nothing else even comes close for consideration. I switched from thumb trackballs. The finger tip control beats all thumb trackballs since the finger makes linear, vertical, circular and diagonal movements effortlessly and efficiently. Try that with your thumb. All 7 buttons and wheel are perfectly positioned for quick access too. The FPS gamer knows the slightest hesitation means instant defeat. The best gaming mouse on the planet can't compare to the dead-on accuracy and features of this model. The MMO's player is sure to rise quickly through the ranks using this intuitive tool! The fully functioning software package controls the sensitivity and speed of the cursor. So, don't believe noobs who say it's too slow. I get 4 - 5 feet distance from the transmitter when I lean back in my chair and it never needs calibrating.

I use the mouse every day Web browsing. Were they set the ball is great. Never have to move the mouse around on the pad. All the features are at the tip of your fingers. Becaue the back slops down fast it took me a about a week to find the spot thats comfortable for my hand.

I've been a Logitech trackball user and fan for years, and by far this is the best one I've ever owned! I have one at home for personal use and one at work for business, both primarily for graphics and for web browsing. I absolutely LOVE this product! For those that have had trouble with this trackball, it could be interference from other electrical products. Because I constantly moving things around on my desk, every once in a while I'll "lose signal" but all I have to do is move the receiver a few inches away from other electrical devices -- problem solved! I wouldn't trade this in for any mouse!

I love not having another cord running to the computer. I also like being able to position the mouse on my desk where I want it, not where the cord will not interfer with work.
