Hi I recently bought a lexmark printer and I have always been a fan of their products even though prior to this purchase I was using an HP product. Anyways, great printer but toner runs out very quickly.. Big disappointment.. And now that you can toner cartridges refilled at walgreens and places as such, they don't refill lexmark products.. (Of course..)
So I'm having to buy black and color toner almost every other month. I go thru more toner than paper.. I use quick printing settings and don't always use the color option.. I even tried the lexmark HY (high yield) toner cartridge and still ran out after a month and some.
So if you buy lexmark for a good deal just beware of short life toner usage. In the end you'll pay more..

high yield I expect it to be high yield.

The "high yield" isn't very high. For less money the HP printers in the same price range do more prints per cartridge
