Photoshop Elements is included with this product and it evidently works with xp. I am running Vista and it had a sheet with it saying it would not work with Vista. So I returned the whole thing. I then bought a printer and Photoshop Elements 8.

I've only printed photos on the Epson 1400 because that is all I got it for! The photos are beautiful! I love the large format and am still just playing with that. I scrapbook and look forward to printing out some 12 x 12 fully digital pages.

Set up was easy, I just followed the manual. I like the quality of pictures this printer produces. It's not fast, though; especially the first page, you have to wait for ages for printer to start. Consequtive pages are coming faster.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this printer, but if you are going to print a lot, you might consider a faster model.

My husband and I have been taking our own digital photos, but decided we wanted to print our own. After research, purchased this Epson 1400, it was easy set up, and have enjoyed the fact it prints all size up to 11/17. Most size paper needs to be ordered directly from company.
If you want to try various projects. It can be pricey, but it all depends on your enjoyment.
