This desk, overall, is gorgeous and I'm very impressed with it. The design is quite sturdy (yet extremely light) and very attractive. The desk space is very sufficient and the moving printer and keyboard racks are a great touch. I actually have the printer rack centered and holding up my monitor instead to expand the desk space. This desk will definitely "wow" house guests too.

I do, however, have a few minor issues with this desk. When it arrived, and I unpacked it, two of the disks that are glued to the glass, allowing you to screw the glass surfaces to the frame were knocked off the glass. On one, its obvious the glue just gave out because theres a nice round residue left behind. The other actually took a small layer of glass with it, leaving a dent. I just assembled the desk normally and krazy glued the disks back on, but it doesn't look as clean as the real deal.

Another problem is the computer rack underneath the desk. It seems to be sized for a very small computer. I have a mid-size tower and when pushed all the way back, 1/3 of it hangs off the rack. I simply opted to place the PC next to the desk, on the floor, instead. It does fit my small subwoofer quite well though =).

Another issue is that because the printer rack sticks out behind the desk, you cannot push it all the way against the wall, so things will inevitably fall back there at some point. Fortunately, they'll be easily seen and reached underneath the desk.

Once again, none of these issues would keep me from recommending this desk to other people. You can opt not to install both the printer rack and the computer rack if theyre a problem, and if I had the patience to wait again I'd send back the glass surfaces with the failed disks. The desk just looked too good, and I had to put it together right away!

When I received this desk one of the supports that was glued to the glass was broken off. Also the wood was marked up. The packaging didn't protect it at all. But beware of a dirty desk after you've had it. Windex is a must, if you don't want fingerprints and smudges all over the desk. It also was very easy to put together. I still like the desk, and it does look good too. (When it's cleaned.) I use the shelf on it to hold my MacBook Pro, and it seems to be working well. Its level with my iMac so its easy to use both constantly. The glider parts for the shelf and the keyboard work well. But a downside of having a glass desk is that you can see the cords and wires behind it. I just got some cord management and it seems to look cleaner. One other thing about the shelf: It is not flush with the edge of the desk, so if you were to have it against a wall you wouldn't be able to have it right up next to it. But it does allow for more desk space by the shelf not hanging over it. I give this desk 3 stars.

I work for Staples and this is one of the better looking desks that I've seen. I'm a college student on a budget but have picky taste when it comes to my furniture. This desk goes amazingly well with my room and looks fantastic. The chrome really stands out and is an eye catcher.

I was worried about how much space I would have consider I have quite a lot of stuff but it's not an issue. I hold my laptop, printer, and desk accessories on top of it and everything fits well.

Great desk, great price.

I was not sure if the chrome finish would look as good as the photo, but I was impressed once I opened the box. The parts are all placed inside moulded foam , very well protected and packaged. The glass top is very sturdy as well as the overall construction. I liked the sliding feature of the keyboard and printer shelf, I can adapt the position when I want to. It decorates my room and I am very happy with this unit.

I use this desk in my home where it fits perfectly with some of my contemporary furniture in my spare bedroom, in both style and size. I really like metal and glass desks, because they seem to really stand the test of time. It was relatively easy to assemble, but I do suggest paying very close attention to the screw sizes and keeping them organized, because I ended up on a section short on some particular screws and had to do some disassembly to swap the correct ones. Also, if you have hardwood floors, I would lay a blanket down to avoid scratching it. You'll also want to use a rubber mallet to tap the various plastic end caps on pieces. The tower/cpu stand is quite small, and even my Mini Dell Vostro tower was hanging off of it. I elected to remove it and just sit my tower on our hardwood floor for now. A nice feature is the keyboard tray and printer shelf can be moved left or right and essentially slide across the main structural bars, so you're not stuck with just one orientation, however the printer stand (if you want to use it for that) uses C shaped bars that protrude 4"-5" from the back, so you really won't be able to install the desk completely flush against a wall. If you want more desk space, while assembling I would just skip the step where the printer shelf comes into play. I would not recommend removing the printer stand after the desk is fully assembled though, as the bars it slides on are integral to the support of the structure and it could end up being damaged, but that's just my observation. I'm quite happy with this purchase and expect to get at least a decade of use out of it.

I have been shopping for a new computer desk for 4 or 5 months. I had an armoire and for an Imac it didn't work well at all. I was looking for a desk that I could put my printer on top of the desk and yet still have room to work. This desk was everything I was looking for. The design is awesome, and very sturdy. [...] I don't like to buy furniture that I can't sit at for a while and try it out, but this time I'm glad I bought the desk.
