I purchased this for Skype and continue to have problems with Skype crashing during use even though Skype says it is compatible with this webcam. I have updated all software and still have occasional problems.

I purchased this camera as part of a pilot project for our geographically disperse organization with the goal being to reduce the amount of travel required of our employees. The camera worked well with WebEx meetings. The ability to adjust to ever changing light conditions was very good. At 15 fps, the quality of the image was very acceptable on our network. I have not yet had an opportunity to utilize the microphone as we use teleconferencing packages for audio.

Fast & easy to set up, performs beautifully with Skype! This delivers clear, crisp images, records videos, and the customizable settings are fabulous! Even has a built-in mic.

The only con is that sometimes it's hard to get the clip to remain securely fastened to my laptop. But I still highly recommend this -- 5 stars!
