Q: A nurse in a school with autistic children asked if there was somewhere in writing that the paper is non-toxic because the children at the school sometimes eat the paper. Is the paper non-toxic? Asked on 10/30/2012 by Concerned Nurse from GA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: While there might be nothing in writing, you can call Staples customer service hotline and ask them. That being said, I would not think an item like paper, which we touch continually and sometimes for extended periods of time, would be "toxic". Answered on 3/2/2013 by Rx Guy from Jackson, NJ A: There is nothing stating if this is non toxic or not. All that is listed is that it's acid free. Q: What is the thickness of this paper? My printer keeps jamming when I use it and says the thickness may be an issue. Asked on 7/4/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: As a previous person commented, paper is based on weight. My problem with jams occurs only when the paper tray is low. This paper, at 20 pounds is quite light. I usually use 24 pound paper and you can definitely feel the difference between 20 and 24. Answered on 3/2/2013 by Rx Guy from Jackson, NJ A: Paper is rated based on the weight. This paper has a 20 lb weight, which is determined by the weight of 500 sheets of the parent weight which is a 17" x 22" paper. 20 lb. paper is a good choice for making everyday copies. Unfortunately, I am unsure why your printer continues to jam, as this paper is a standard grade paper. Answered on 7/6/2011 by Liz C from Staples

Sometimes a smaller case will contain five reams. When I first started to shop at Staples about 15 years ago, they also sold some cases with three reams.
