Now "FROSTED" and Not Clear

I have been buying the Staples brand of these labels for a couple of years now and use them for my products. I loved how they were truly clear - transparent and had a slight gloss to them. I did not use the Avery type because their "clear" was actually more like frosted.

I just went to purchase another box of the 2x4 "clear" from Staples and see they have totally changed and are now frosted, just like Avery! Why did you change the design? Why would you change it and not even make a notation on the packaging?

I really am very displeased with this product now and will need to look elsewhere for what I originally was able to purchase.

I've used this product for business for the last 3 years--until now. I also loved how they were truly clear and seemed of better quality than other labels. I was disappointed the last time I went to purchase them to see they are now slightly frosted with a matte feel. I can't imagine that there was a high demand for this change since the previous version was so much better. I am not at all satisfied with this product change.

i loved the 'old' staples scnj130 labe. This new one is not clear as it says, the label is frosty
and it does not look good!

i thought the labels were going to be clear, they are not, they are frosted like scotch tape which i did not realize untill i peeled one off.

I used these labels for my wedding invitations. They were very easy to use and did not run. Though they are supposed to be clear, they were a little cloudy. But in the end, the finished product looked great.
