It would always be better if the inks would last longer but I like the fact that each color is an individual cartridge

Use printer rarely - Epson 810 has capability to print larger than 8.5 x 11. (I think about 9.5)
Use it to print addresses on large envelopes. Haven't found an relatively inexpensive all-in-one that allows this (would buy it). Cartridges for it dry up between uses maybe?? Whatever...
