HP HAS A REAL RACKET GOING ON THESE OVERPRICED CARTRIDGES WITH BAR CODE EXPIRATION DATES READ BY THE PRINTER. PRINTER AUTOMATICALLY QUITS WNEN EITHER THE B&W OR COLOR CARTRIDGES REACH THE USUALLY SHORT EXPRIRATION DATE. WHAT A RIPOFF! IF YOU MUST BUY ONE, CHECK FOR THE EXPIRATION DATE ON THE BACK OF THE PACKAGE. HP WON'T EVEN PUT IT UP FRONT. WHY DOESN'T HP MAKE THIS IN THE USA???

I had to replace the printer, so I didn't get to use the ink, this time. of course the new printer required a different sized cartridge.
